Covid Safe martial arts instructor certification.

If you think your instructor is going the extra mile to gain a qualification in how to protect your health and wellbeing when we return to training then dont be fooled if they are banding about this certificate, its at best misleading.

Without reading any of the course work I went straight to the questions and scored 100% (30 out of 30) plus added to that you can change your answers if you get any wrong thus a guarantee of a pass certificate.

This is not a mandated course and simply a free informational source to help those gain better understanding of the current situation which if you have been following news and guidance you will know anyway.

In an industry that preaches respect, integrity and honesty its a sad to see so much deceit.

Hi everyone, we hope you are all well, coping with the lockdown and keeping motivated.

Here at Checkmat DV8 Jiu Jitsu we realised early on that this pandemic would have a huge impact on people physically, mentally and financially so we took the decision immediately to suspend all fees to make this one less thing for people to worry about. Yes we still have the usual outgoings to cover but using the options that have been made available to us we have made sure we are in a good position to survive this situation at this present time without impact to our team.

To carry on charging monthly membership fees only to supply online content which in all honesty people can obtain on YouTube just didnt sit comfortably with our morals or club ethics.

Thank you all for continuing to support us during this time and we will continue to update you as and when we know when we will be able to reopen.

Keep safe, Ian

Some of the 20 plus years of travelling to train BJJ with amazing black belts week in week out to improve myself and my club and no bullshit claiming to have trained 20 years only to attend a handful of seminars and watch YouTube. Its so easy to impress the uneducated with dishonest claims and mediocre technique.
